Wodaabe-Mbororo Fulani men of Agadez in Niamey in Niger dress up like women to dance and showcase their beauty to the women gathered around to choose a husband during the Gerewol festival.
The time of cure salee is very important for many different reasons in the Wodaabe nomads of the sahel region of the Niger . This time rains stops and the various clans of the Wodaabe gather with their cattle in preparation to herd their beloved cattle’s.
